The average American carries over $100,000 in debt. This is comprised of mortgages, student loans, credit cards, auto loans. Every month, we work long hours, only to see our paycheck vanish into payments, interest, and fees. Despite the illusion of ownership, we don’t truly own our homes, cars, or even our education, the banks do.

This isn’t a modern phenomenon. As Proverbs 22:7 warns: "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender." Debt has always been a tool of control, and today, it's more sophisticated than ever.

The Debt Industry: A System of Control from the Top Down

Debt isn’t just a personal issue, it’s a designed system built to control individuals, businesses, and governments. To combat the debt industry, we must start from the top and dismantle its power structure.

  1. The Federal Reserve: The root cause of modern debt slavery. The Fed prints fiat money, lends it to banks, and enables a system where debt is the foundation of economic activity. Inflation and artificially low interest rates encourage borrowing, while banks profit off endless repayment cycles.
  2. Big Banks: Major financial institutions ensure that lending is their most lucrative business. They make billions by keeping people indebted through deceptive interest rates, compounding fees, and financial products designed to trap borrowers.
  3. Loan Officers & Predatory Lenders: On the individual level, loan officers are trained to push credit, mortgages, and personal loans, often knowing that borrowers are being set up for failure. Subprime lending and payday loans exploit the most financially vulnerable.
  4. Credit Bureaus: A system designed to force compliance with debt. Your credit score doesn’t measure financial stability, it measures how effectively you can be enslaved by lenders.

How to Combat the Debt Industry

1. End the Federal Reserve’s Monopoly

2. Hold Big Banks Accountable

3. Expose & Reform Loan Practices

4. Challenge the Credit System
